On the night before Mother’s Day this year, we’re bringing together four incredible authors with roots in our local community to discuss motherhood, parenting, and creative practice. Our panelists are Ellyn Gaydos, author of Pig Years, Morgan Baker, author of Emptying the Nest, Casey Mulligan Walsh, author of The Full Catastrophe, and writer and musician Nandi Rose. Topics will include the joys and challenges of writing about motherhood, the ethics of memoir, and how to balance parenting while maintaining a creative practice. We expect this to be a lively and engaging panel discussion, followed by time for audience questions and participation.
This Chatham Bookstore event is free and open to the public; everyone is welcome, including but not limited to fellow mothers and writers. We kindly request that you RSVP.
Light refreshments will be served.
