Experience a writer’s residency at the library! This week-long intensive welcomes writers and artists grades 6th-12th to create writing or art centered around our summer reading theme of “Color Our World.” Teen creatives will work together to make a zine out of their combined efforts, which will be available in print and digital copies after our residency week concludes. Expect snacks, writing supplies, and space for creativity!
We strongly encourage participants to attend all five sessions in order to get the most out of this program series. Attendance at three out of five sessions is required to have work included in the zine. Registering for the first session registers participants for all five.
