The great Alan Catlin just released his new book, “Books of the Dead: A Memoir with Poetry”, a combination of prose sections and poems.
Dan Wilcox was back for the open mic at the Pine Hollow Arboretum, with the featured poet, Mark W. O’Brien, who was back from Ireland.
The start of our 5th year at the Arts Center of the Capital Region, with my co-host Nancy Klepsch, down the hall in the conference room.
This event marked the official launch of Pine Hills Review, joining other local literary journals such as Up the River and Misfit Magazine.
Dan was able to make it up to the historic Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs for the monthly poetry open mic featuring Mike Jurkovic & Paul Pines.
This night of poetry was a joint effort with Yes! & with Fence Books, housed at the NYS Writers Institute at the University at Albany.
Once again Mary Panza called us to order in the back room of McGeary’s for featured poet Paul Pines and a full card of open mic readers.
The Calling All Poets Series in Beacon is a monthly poetry reading / open mic, and once a year they hold a marathon reading.
Dan Wilcox made it down to the Poets Speak Loud open mic at McGeary’s just in time for a great night of spoken word featuring Andy Clausen.
