Are you a writer who needs some help getting your writing going again? Or have you always longed to try writing because you know you have some stories in you? Wherever you are on the writing journey, this is the workshop for you! All genres and topics welcome.
Writing is the easiest of the arts to get a start in, because most of us learn the basic tools (writing and grammar) during our school years. How do you go from knowing how to write to writing with ease and completing stories or novels or plays or even poems?
We will give you some exercises and writing practices that will give you work to take home and edit — or expand. Plot your novel. Outline your story. Sketch out a poem or even conjure up some dialogue for a pivotal scene.
