Haiku, Senryu and Tanka are terse poetic forms adapted to English from the Japanese poetic tradition. Their seeming simplicity can unmask breathtaking insights, universal truths and unanswerable questions. This generative workshop will offer poets a delightful opportunity to play with the forms’ themes and structures to craft much from little. All experience levels welcome.
