Open Mic Poetry Night

Patrick Hammer Jr., a resident of Saugerties, was formely from the Bronx, and Paramus, and Fort Lee, NY. He has been on the poetry scene since the mid-70s and was a long time memeber and workshop leader for North Jersey’s Begen Poets. He has led and co-led several writing workshops including, The Wild Angels writing worshops at Manhattan’s Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, workshops at the Fort Lee Adult School, and at the Fort Lee Senior Activity Center. Hammer has recently co-founded The Blue Stone Poets and co-hosts their workshops meeting in the Village of Saugerties. He has 9 books published and appears widely in small domestic and international literay magazines.

Robert P. Langdon has worn many hats over the years including Director of Sales and Marketing at a publishing hosue, professional photography and teacher, He is the curator and propietor of Emerge Gallery based in Saugerties for 8 years and now fully virtual through exhibitions on artsy.net. Robert is currently Director of Programming at Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild. He is co-founder of the Blue Stone Poets.
