Third Thursday Poetry Night Featuring Paul Lamar

Local writer Paul Lamar will read from his work at the Social Justice Center, 33 Central Ave., Albany, on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at 7:30 PM, with an open mic for community poets.

Paul Lamar lives with his husband, Mark, in Albany, where he teaches memoir, flash fiction, and poetry; he reviews theater for The Daily Gazette, and conducts a chorus.

A reading by a local or regional poet/writer has been held since July 2006, each Third Thursday at the Social Justice Center.  The event includes an open mic for audience members to read.
