The Hudson Valley Writers Guild maintains a list of peer groups in the Greater Capital Region. HVWG member Therese Broderick has completed an overhaul of the list, and we have updated our resources page to reflect her findings. You can find the current page here. The page also includes information about what a peer group is and provides links for tips about critique.
Thanks for your hard work, Therese!
You’re welcome. It was my pleasure.

Presidents like buttons!
As of April 28, 2011, this list already needs three changes:
1) 2)under “Multi-Genre” and “Writer’s Bloc,” the correct name should be “Writer’s Bloc” (not “Block”) and the correct email address should be: John Pasquini, [email protected]
3) new entry to add under “Poetry”:
Albany Poets’ Workshop: an every-other-week workshop in existence since 2000, for experienced poets who seek strong feedback and wish to participate in a creative give and take. Applicants will be asked to submit a sample of their work. Workshop usually meets at a downtown Albany location on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m but the day of the week could be changed. For more information, contact Gary Maggio at [email protected].
Thanks,
Therese
I placed the updates directly on the page. Take a peek & see if I missed anything?
