Bob Sharkey announces the 4th Annual Stephen A. DiBiase Poetry Prize is now accepting submissions.
This year there will be $2,200 to be awarded – $500 for first place, $400 second, $300 third, $200 fourth. There will also be cash awards for honorable mentions.
January 15, 2019 deadline. Results by email to you in March 2019. Finalists will be invited to a reading near Albany NY in May 2019.
No entry fees.
Open to all poets of all ages worldwide who are writing in English. Poets retain all rights.
Submit just one poem that you have written. There are no rules or limitations on the poems.
Include the following in a cover sheet or email body with your submission:
- Your name
- Your mailing or residence address
- An email address
- The title of your poem
- A ten-word description of who you are
