Albany Poets welcomes local poet, artist, and editor Adam Tedesco as the featured reader at the 11th edition of Albany Poets Presents on Wednesday, August 23 at Restaurant Navona, 289 New Scotland Avenue, Albany.
Albany Poets Presents puts a spin on the typical poetry event in the local literary community by highlighting one poet every two months with an interview and Q&A session following the reading.
Host Thom Francis says, “Adam and his work has always intrigued me – ever since he first started coming out to Poets Speak Loud and Nitty Gritty Slam a few years ago. Since then, I have wanted to find out more bout his process and what keeps his imagination and creativity with words going.”
Adam Tedesco is a founding editor of REALITY BEACH, a journal of new poetics. He conducts interviews and analyzes dreams for Drunk In A Midnight Choir. His recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in Fence, Funhouse, Fanzine, Gramma Weekly, Souvenir, Cosmonauts Avenue, Hobart, Plinth and elsewhere. He is the author of several chapbooks, most recently HEART SUTRA (REALITY BEACH), and ABLAZA (Lithic Press).
Albany Poets Presents will be recorded live to be distributed through the Albany Poets website and other outlets.
