It was around 2001 when Christopher Wheeling ran into a bunch of poets on the campus of Orange County Community College. After he picked himself up off the floor, he took up the practice of creative writing, something he hadn’t done for about a decade. It was a gateway drug to late nights at greasy spoon diners, long conversations that went until the sun came up in the morning, broken hearts, repaired hearts, more broken hearts, some bad habits, some good habits, a distinct lack of haircuts, and friendships that have lasted the years despite varying forms of madness and idiocy.

His poetry may or may not reflect his experiences along the way.
