The W.B. Yeats Society of New York welcomes submissions to their international poetry competition. Unpublished poems in English up to 60 lines on any subject may be entered for this award. Poets of all ages and backgrounds are eligible.
First prize is $1,000, second prize is $500, and honorable mentions will be given. Winners and honorable mentions receive plaques and two-year Yeats Society memberships, and are honored at a ceremony in New York (pandemic permitting). Authors retain rights, but permit the Society to publish and/or broadcast winning entries.
