Wandering Here

Five or so foul men.
Good morning, just passing through!
The filthiest words.

Excuses, Excuses

He had a hard life.
So he has permission to
fully destroy mine?

Eyed

Noticing, looking.
And yes, observing of course.
But stares cut my soul.

Anna Boughtwood lives just over the Dunn Memorial Bridge from Albany. Her writing has been published in the Dime Show Review and East Jasmine Review.

This is what poetry does: pack a solid punch in conscise words and expressions. These three poems pack a punch, for sure.
