One of the area’s finest poets / spoken word artists, Bless, performing at Nitty Gritty Slam #53 at Valentines on New Scotland Ave. in Albany on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
Starting his career as one of the original slam poets of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York City, Bless has been performing at local poetry venues and was the host of Wize Words at Simply Fish & Jazz.
NGS #53 was the kick-off to the third season of Albany’s poetry slam series that was sponsored and hosted by Albany Poets, Urban Guerilla Theatre, and The Frequency North Reading Series.
