Two Poems – Royce Reeves

Two poem – “Time” and “Enigma” – from poet and student Royce Reeves.

Time

There comes a time
A distinguished time
Where things only collide
Like quantum mechanical mayhem

Each part divisive
Contingencies
That figure themselves out
Only minds exist

Senseless duality
Mind and body
Cathartic realities
There has been such a time

Enigma

Where distinct time goes
Cathartic passion collides
Divergent murmurs

Royce Reeves is a graduated valedictorian who now currently studies pre-accounting at UCF. He wants to inspire the next generation with poetry that is thoughtful and impactful.
