Carrie Czwakiel joins the Virus-Free Video Open Mic, the Albany Poets video project bringing poets together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Carrie Czwakiel has lived in the Capital District since she was three years old and currently lives in the Scotia-Glenville area with her 16-year-old autistic son. She started writing poetry when she was about 12 years old to help deal with emotional pain and, to this day, writes to release what weighs heavily on her spirit.
