7:00 pm – Poetic Vibe

Poetic Vibe is a weekly Poetry Open Mic with featured local and regional poets hosted by D. Colin in downtown Troy. This week’s featured poet is Kwesi Akosa.

7:00 pm – Rensselaerville Library Poetry Group

Bring your poem and receive feedback from fellow poets, or just share your words at the Rensselaerville Library Poetry Group on the Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month.

7:00 pm – Northampton Poetry Open Mic

Bring one poem that’s 3 minutes or under and read it on our open mic! No cover charge, but we’ll be passing a bucket to pay the featured poet.

 

Wednesday, December 11

6:00 pm – Greg Veitch at Northshire Bookstore

Join author and former Saratoga Springs Police Chief Greg Veitch as he discusses, reads from, and signs his new book “Gangster’s Paradise.” Veitch will share stories of bootlegging, gambling, fixed horse races, corruption and murder from the book.

7:00pm – Volume Reading Series

Volume is a FREE reading and music series featuring prose, poetry, and a short DJ set every second Saturday at Spotty Dog Books and Ale in Hudson NY. This month is the 4th Annual Volume Home Team: A Showcase of Local Emerging Talent.
