We are just getting things started at the new Brass Tacks open mic at The Low Beat. We have had a great mix of longtime local poets and first-timers take the stage since we began in July and there is so much more to come.
The next edition of our new series will be on Tuesday, September 18. Sign up starts at 7:00 p.m. with the poetry and spoken word kicking off at 7:30.
In the coming months, we will have featured readers and special theme nights highlighting the best and brightest of the regional poetry community. So stay tuned for updates and announcements.
