On Tuesday, August 21, 2018, Albany Poets is back at The Low Beat with the third edition of the brand-new “Brass Tacks” open mic series.
We have had such a great time at the first two events and we can’t wait to see what happens on August 21. Looking ahead, we are planning some great themed readings and poets from both Trailer Park Quarterly and the latest edition of Up The River will be featured in the coming month.
“Brass Tacks” takes place on the first and third Tuesday of each and every month at The Low Beat (335 Central Ave., Albany). The open mic is for poets, writers, spoken word artists, and anyone else who has a story to tell. Sign up begins at 7:00 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. start time. Admission is just $3.00.
