Authors Among Us: Poetry Writing Bootcamp for Beginners

This workshop is for beginners (or “beginners-plus”), and focuses on giving and receiving constructive feedback on our work, as well as offering exercises, writing prompts, and some tips on how to read poetry, as we learn some basic techniques.

On Tuesday, July 3rd at noon, the Author Talk at the main Albany Public Library, 161 Washington Ave., will feature Therese L. Broderick reading from her first full-length collection, BREATH DEBT: POEMS.

Poets in the Park, 2018

Poets in the Park is celebrating nearly 30 years of bringing poetry in July to the Robert Burns statue in Washington Park, Albany, NY.  The series was started in 1989 by the late Tom Nattell and is now run by Albany poet & photographer Dan Wilcox.
