Arthur’s Poetry Open Mic to Feature Kate McNairy

Kate McNairy will be the featured reader at the monthly poetry open mic at Arthur’s Market & Cafe, 35 N.Ferry Street, Schenectady.

Featured poet Kate McNairy‘s published works include two chapbooks, “Junebug”(2014) and “Light to Light”(2016), both published by Finishing Line Press, and with blurbs from Campbell McGrath and Henri Cole.  She has published poems in various literary magazines and freelance writing in newspapers and journals. She has been writing instructor at Empire State College and SUNY Adirondack. A finalist in the Blue Light Press chapbook contest, Kate lives in Ballston Spa with partner Jon and has been a frequent participant in poetry events and workshops around the Capital District.
