7:00pm – Emack and Bolio’s Open Mic Night

A weekly open mic for music and poetry.

7:00pm – Rensselaerville Library Poetry Group
Rensselaerville Library, 1459 County Route 351, Rensselaerville, NY
Bring your poem and receive feedback from fellow poets, or just share your words at the Rensselaerville Library Poetry Group on the Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month.

8:00pm – Northampton Poetry Open Mic
World War II Club, 50 Conz St., Northampton, MA
Northampton’s only weekly open mic poetry night offers some of the best, most creative voices in the county. Every Tuesday night at 8:00pm.

 

Wednesday, February 15

7:00pm – Albany Poets Presents Mike Jurkovic
Restaurant Navona, 289 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY
Albany Poets is proud to welcome Mike Jurkovic as the featured guest at Albany Poets Presents at Restaurant Navona. Albany Poets Presents puts a spin on the typical poetry event in the local literary community by highlighting one poet every two months with an interview and Q&A session following the reading, recorded for the Albany Poets podcast.

7:30pm – Next Year’s Words with Colleen Geraghty and Jeanne-Marie Fleming
Jewish Congregation of New Paltz Community Center, 30 North Chestnut Street, New Paltz, NY
Next Year’s Words, the readers’ series for writers of poetry, memoir and fiction presents writers Colleen Geraghty and Jeanne-Marie Fleming, and calls for a creative community response to recent national events.

8:00pm – Starving Artist Thursdays

A weekly open Mic for music, poetry, and spoken word at one of Albany’s best new coffee shops.

 

Friday, February 17

8:00pm – Hudson Valley Writers’ Center Open Mic Night

Featured Poets + open mike for poets, fiction writers, essayists with rotating hosts. Located in the restored Philipse Manor railroad station, which is approx. 30 miles north of midtown Manhattan and 2.6 miles north of the Tappan Zee Bridge.

 

Saturday, February 18

6:00pm – Open Poetry Night

A monthly Open Poetry Night at Professor Javas on Wolf Road on the third Saturday of each month.

7:00pm – Mudd Poets Poetry Series
Mudd Puddle Cafe, 10 Main Street, New Paltz, NY
Monthly poetry open mic series with a featured reader hosted by Robert Milby.
