A note from Logan Beth Fisher:
I am the director of a show coming to the Wood Theater in Glens Falls this April, entitled “Come As You Are.” The show is a staged reading where published authors, professional performers and musicians combine with locals to share their stories (or of someone that they know) in order to end the stigma surrounding mental illness.
This year, Marya Hornbacher Pulitzer nominated for her best selling book, Wasted, will headline our show. I am reaching out to you to ask if you’d share audition information with your members in order for them to consider possibly auditioning to take part in the show.
Audition dates are 2/11 from 9-1 and 2/18 from 12:30-4:30 at Saratoga Library and Crandall Library respectively. They need to have an essay sharing their experiences with mental illness prepared that is no longer than 5 minutes.
If they’d like an audition slot, they can email me at loganbethfisher@gmail.com.
