Finishing Line Press announces the publication of Light to Light, a chapbook of poems by Kate McNairy.
Kate writes about comforts of love, losses of coming apart and all that is between—the bedlam of life. She has a previous chapbook, June Bug published by Finishing Line Press (2014) and was a finalist in the Blue Light Press Poetry Contest (2013). Kate currently lives in Ballston Spa, NY.

Kate has been a freelance writer for newspapers and literary magazines (Dystenium, Literary House, Third Wednesday, Chronogram, among others). She has been on the editorial board of The Apple Tree, an anthology from Empire State College Academy Adult Life Long Learning, and has been an adjunct Writing Instructor at the Center for its Distance Learning program. Kate has a M.A. from University at Albany.
