Season Five of Nitty Gritty Slam continues with a poetry slam and open mic for spoken word at The Low Beat. Admission is $3.00 before 7:30 / $5.00 after.
8:00pm – Northampton Poetry
World War II Club, 50 Conz St., Northampton, MA
A special slam to choose the poet who will represent Northampton Poetry at the Individual World Poetry Slam this October in Phoenix, Arizona! The evening starts with the Open Mic- sign up starts at 7 pm, poetry starts at 8, and the cover is just $4 ($3 for students).

Marilyn McCabe will be at The Book House on June 23 at 6:30to do a short reading from her new book of poems, Glass Factory. She will also be signing the book after the reading.
