There is a new opportunity for poets to get involved in the annual poetry event in Rensselaerville. The organizers are looking for a diverse group of poets to come to Rensselaerville as “featured poets” for the first “Poetry of Courage/Poetry of Witness” program that will be part of the Rensselaerville Library’s 11th Annual Celebration of National Poetry Month to be held at the Carey Center for Global Good (formerly the Rensselaerville Institute) on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 3 to 5.
Please submit a brief bio of 2-3 sentences and 2-3 poems that you would be willing to read. Please forward to any others who may be interested. Deadline is March 15, 2016 and you will receive a response by April 1. A committee of local poets will select the most diverse group possible.
