We have another great week of poetry and spoken word readings, open mics, events, and slams in the area to celebrate and appreciate the art. Here is a look at what is coming up in our poetry community this week…

Sunday, December 20

7:30pm – WordXWord Story Slam
Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Ave., Pittsfield, MA
WordXWord wraps up 2015 with a Story Slam at the Whitney Center for the Arts, December 20 at 3:00 p.m. With guest host James Burden, storytellers share their 5-minute true stories related to the theme “strange holiday.” In addition to fantastic stories – and in spirit of the holidays – the afternoon’s event will offer coffee, tea and a selection of seasonal sweets.

 

Monday, December 21
