Upcoming Poetry Events – Week of March 8, 2015

We are starting to think spring here in upstate New York. We just announced plans for the 2015 Albany Word Fest coming up in April and we are ready to leave this cold and snow behind us.

We have a great week of poetry and spoken word lined up with a schedule of seven solid days of poetry readings, slams, and open mics with great features all over the region.

Here is a look at what is coming up in the poetry community this week…

Sunday, March 8

8:00pm – Northampton Poetry Open Mic

Northampton’s only weekly open mic poetry night offers some of the best, most creative voices in the county. Every Tuesday night at 8:00pm. Come down and listen. Come down and share your words. Academic or slam, spoken word or political: Your words are welcome.
