Arthur's Market

Poetry and spoken word are coming back to Schenectady’s historic Stockade District! Catherine Norr, Jackie Craven, and friends are hosting a brand new open mic at Arthur’s Market (35 North Ferry St., Schenectady). This new series kicks off on Wednesday, September 10 and will continue on the second Wednesday of each and every month.

Yes, that means now you have a choice in the Capital Region for poetry on the second Wednesday between this new event and Don Levy‘s long-running “Live From The Living Room” series taking place at The Pride Center on the same night.

The featured poet for the first reading in the series is Catherine De Salle.

Sign-up for the open mic starts at 7 p.m. with the reading beginning at 7:30 p.m.
