The Esther Massry Gallery at The College of Saint Rose presents ARTWAVES: “The Official Launch of Pine Hills Review,” the new literary magazine of the Saint Rose master of fine arts in creative writing program. Noted authors Elisa Albert and Gregory Pardlo will read from their recent works as part of the launch celebration.
Albert and Pardlo will read Friday, September 5, at 7 p.m. in the Esther Massry Gallery, Massry Center for the Arts, 1002 Madison Ave., Albany. The event is free and open to the public. Copies of their most recent works will be available for purchase and signing.
Preceding the launch, a reception will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in combination with the opening of “BLACK,” an art exhibition by Brian Cirmo in the Standish Atrium Gallery, and the re-opening of the “Art+Design Faculty Exhibition” in the Esther Massry Gallery.
Named for the Pine Hills neighborhood of Albany, New York, Pine Hills Review’s staff is comprised of Saint Rose students and faculty.
