Thom Francis had the opportunity to be a featured reader, along Brooklyn poet with Hilary Sideris, at the long-running (22 years!) Word Thursdays series at the Bright Hill Literary Center in Treadwell, NY.
Thom Francis is the president of Albany Poets and has been organizing, promoting, and hosting open mics and poetry / spoken word events in Albany such as Nitty Gritty Slam, School of Night, Albany Poets Presents… (at The Linda and Valentines), and the Albany Word Fest since 2000. As a poet and performer, Thom has been featured at many of the upstate poetry and spoken word readings and events from Saratoga to Woodstock as well as LarkFest, Art on Lark, 1st Friday, WordXWord, the Albany Word Fest, and many more.
Great feature reading at Bright Hill. Poems were very moving. Can’t wait for a video of Molly playing the xylophone.
