Tomorrow afternoon poetry returns to the Woodstock Community Center starting at 2:00 PM. Host Phillip Levine is welcoming two fantastic poets, Greg Correll and Tyler Wilhelm to the monthly gathering of the Woodstock Poetry Society.

Poets Greg Correll and Tyler Wilhelm will be the featured readers, along with an open mike when the Woodstock Poetry Society & Festival meets at the Woodstock Community Center, 56 Rock City Road, on Saturday, September 14th at 2pm.
The readings will be hosted by Woodstock area poet Phillip X Levine. All meetings are free, open to the public, and include an open mike.Greg Correll writes. OK, here’s more: Greg is writing a book with his grown daughter Molly, about his life as a single father, her life as child actor in NYC –and about rising up from hard times. Greg’s work has appeared in Salon, and in two anthologies of poetry and essays. Two of his short plays have been staged, one as a winner at the Makor Play Festival, off Broadway. His other play, chosen for the Actors & Writers Shorts Festival, was narrated by Ron Nyswaner (“Philadelphia”)–and he got to narrate Ron’s! Way cool. Greg designed and ran the first multimedia stage set at Avery Fisher Hall, The Wizard of Oz in oratorio. He also won a CLIO for Best Package Design, and owns a company that engineered the Yale University Climate Institute site. He has a movement disorder and other nonsense, so he shakes. He has three smart, funny, and bold daughters.
Tyler Wilhelm writes out of Catskill. His first collection first collection of poetry, alive (published by Liberty Artists when its author was no more than 17) disappeared quickly into obscurity. His new collection, I’ve Had A Hard Time Dreaming, was published by Big Decision Press.
