We all know that poetry is alive and well in Albany, especially downtown. Contrary to a recent Times Union article, poetry and spoken word has been thriving all over this great city of ours for the better part of 30 years and it is growing more and more each week.
With that in mind, some of the area’s best spoken word artists, who have been around the scene for quite some time, are getting together to put on what looks to be a great show at Simply Fish and Jazz on Saturday, March 9.

Fee: $5 in advance $10 @ door
First come first served on free buffet. 1st 25 ladies receive roses, limited gift giveaways, REALTALK SEGMENT, and a light afterparty.
