The next Poetry on the Loose reading will be taking place on Saturday, October 6 with featured poet Eileen Van Hook at the beautiful Seligmann Estate in Sugar Loaf. Eileen has been reading and writing poetry for a number of years and recently her poem “Crow” was published in Chronogram. She is also included in the current issue of Stoneboat.

The next program in the the Poetry on the Loose Reading/Performance Series will feature Eileen Van Hook. The event will be held at 23 White Oak Drive, Sugar Loaf at the Seligmann Estate at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 6. Following the feature, others are welcome to read original work. Admission is free.
Eileen Van Hook has often read her work at Poetry on the Loose open readings. She has been published in various literary magazines, journals, and anthologies. She placed first in a Writer’s Journal competition and received an award from the American Poets Fellowship Society. She attends classes and workshops at The College of Poetry and the Poetry Center at PCCC in Paterson. She lives and writes in a lakeside cottage in the mountains of northwestern New Jersey.
The next Poetry on the Loose reading will be held at 3:30 on November 3 with Dennis Bernstein as featured reader.
