William Seaton from the College of Poetry sent us this information about the next Poetry on the Loose reading featuring the Council of Poetic Experimentation on Saturday, August 4.
The next program in the the Poetry on the Loose Reading / Performance Series will feature the Council of Poetic Experimentation. The event will be held at 23 White Oak Drive, Sugar Loaf at the Seligmann Estate at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 4. Following the feature, others are welcome to read original work. Admission is free.
The Council is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of poetry with unpredictable performative maneuvers. This program will include Dan Adreana, Detta Adreana, Kevin Geraghty, Al Margolis, and Steve Roe. Their innovative, sometimes provocative work has been seen locally at the Utopian Directions Gallery and the Surreal Cabarets.
The next Poetry on the Loose reading will be held at 3:30 on September 1 and will feature R. Dionysius Whiteurs.

From now on, all Poetry on the Loose readings will be held at the Seligmann Estate, the home of the Orange County Citizen’s Foundation and the Orange County Arts Council, 23 White Oak Drive in Sugar Loaf, near the Lycian Center. Readings will begin a half hour earlier, at 3:30 and not at 4:00.
