The “Dean of Albany Poetry” Dan Wilcox just released information on the Poets In The Park series for this year. The Poets In The Park reading series has been bringing some of the best poetry and spoken word to the people of Albany in Washington Park for a number of years and this years line up looks no different.

The series begins on July 7 and continues every Saturday in July at the Robert Burns statue in Albany’s historic Washington Park.  This years lineup is a great representation of the local / regional poetry community with a couple local open mic mainstays, two guys with similar names, and a member of Team Nitty Gritty.
