Urban Guerilla Theatre is back at The Linda this coming Friday, March 16, celebrating all things woman with HERSTORY..A Celebration of Women Through Verse, Performance and Song. This month UGT will be hosted by Tenesha Smith.

Urban Guerrilla Theatre is celebrating Women’s History Month with an eclectic blend of poetry, spoken word and song. Featuring Women WHO ROCK!!! Kat-so Poetic, Elizag,Mydori Teasley, Shatieka Ross, Jentri dae and Carlisle Carey more. Featuring a Fashion and Hair Show by Shekinah Beauty and a Community Awards for Outstanding Women in Arts and Community Services.

Urban Guerilla Theatre is a Poetry/Spoken Word/ Performance Group based in Albany,NY. The GROUP consists of Artists and Actors who do poetry/improv/theatre. The Artists of UGT are dedicated to reviving, redefining, and revolutionizing spoken word. The group employs various styles of poetry, music, spoken word and theatre to address life, love, relationships, social and societal issues. UGT also uses their open mic readings to host events and create an artistic space to house and develop artists and upcoming poets.
