Our friend Daniel Nester recently set up shop at the Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy for “The Memoir Project“. Dan explains the project like this:
Inspired by practitioners of personal monologue, first-person documentarians, and conceptual and performance art, The Memoir Office is a working writing space for The Memoirist (Daniel Nester), who will be in residence at various times during the exhibition. When the Memoir Office is open, visitors may discuss matters specific to the Memoirist’s work, edit drafts, contribute, ask questions or tell stories themselves.
The result of this has become an eBook “single” through Amazon entitled The Memoir Office: The Writer is Present and it only cost $.99. All Over Albany talked to Nester about the project and the new book.
