Dan Wilcox is one of the hardest working retired men that we know. He runs two monthly events (“The Third Thursday Poetry Night” at the Social Justice Center and “Poetry + Prose” at the Arts Center in Troy), the “Poets in the Park” series every July, and has the “World’s Largest Collection of Photos of Unknown Poets” documenting the many great poets and artists of the community over the years he has been involved. When he is not hosting or reading at the many open mics in the area, Dan also publishes local poets work through his A.P.D. press.
