Poet Dr. Jennifer Hecht will read from her work on Friday, February 2nd at 7:30 pm at the poetry coffeehouse of FUUSA, the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany. Admission is free but donations are accepted.

Dr. Hecht’s book THE NEXT ANCIENT WORLD won the Poetry Society of America’s 2002 Norm Farber First Book Award. Her most recent book FUNNY won the University of Wisconsin’s 2005 Felix Pollak Poetry Prize (PW called it “one of the most original and entertaining books of the year”).
