Poetry Workshop For Teens at Caffe Lena with Carol Graser
Tuesdays, November 14, 21, and 28 from 4 to 6pm
Free
For these workshops, for ages 14 and up, I try to find appealing poetry that we can read together. Sometimes we comment on the poetry, sometimes we just read and listen. The writing exercises that we do during the workshop will be aimed at encouraging confidence and creativity. If some students are interested in practicing performing their work, we’ll have the perfect setting. I try to be responsive to the particular needs of the students in each class and shape the workshops around them.
