On Friday, April 5, 2019, Mark Berger, will be joining novelist T.C. Boyle at the NYS Writers Institute for readings and a conversation on the theme of “Making Sense of the Sixties.”

Something’s Happening Here: A Sixties Odyssey from Brooklyn to WoodstockOn Friday, April 5, 2019, Hudson Valley Writers Guild member, Mark Berger, will be joining acclaimed novelist T.C. Boyle at the NYS Writers Institute for readings and a conversation on the theme of “Making Sense of the Sixties.” Berger’s memoir, Something’s Happening Here: A Sixties Odyssey from Brooklyn to Woodstock was begun when he was a student in Marion Roach Smith’s classes at the Art Center of the Capital Region. Boyle grew up in the Hudson Valley and has become one of America’s most prolific and insightful writers. He will be reading and discussing his new novel: From the Outside In.

The event is presented in association with the English Graduate School Association annual conference and will take place at 7:30 PM at Page Hall, 135 Western Avenue, Downtown UAlbany Campus. Admission is free. All are welcome.
