On Wednesday, March 1, the Caffe Lena Poetry Open Mic continues with featured readers Melody Davis, Matthew Klane, and James Bellflower.
We have another great week of poetry readings, open mics, events, and slams in the area to celebrate and appreciate the art of spoken word.
On Wednesday, March 1, Caffè Lena will present poetry reading by Melody Davis and a performance by James Belflower and Matthew Klane. An open reading will follow. Doors open for sign-ups at 7 p.m., and the readings will start at 7:30.
The final Yes! of the season is December 3 at the Opalka Gallery with poets Joe Hall and Cheryl Quimba, translator Carl Skoggard, & much more.
Tonight in Troy, Publication Studio celebrates James Belflower’s and Matthew Klane’s collaborative text-sound-image project, “Canyons”.
A big week of poetry starts on Sunday with three readings in the area & the words continue all week – it’s not even National Poetry Month yet!
This night of poetry was a joint effort with Yes! & with Fence Books, housed at the NYS Writers Institute at the University at Albany.
