Woodstock Poetry Society Reading Featuring Guy Reed and Will Nixon
Poets Guy Reed and Will Nixon will be featured followed by an open mike when the Woodstock Poetry Society meets in-person at the Woodstock Library and virtually via Zoom on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at 2pm (eastern).
WPS meetings are held the 2nd Saturday (2pm) of every month.

Guy Reed won the 2022 Littoral Press poetry prize, and is author of Second Innocence (Luchador Press), The Effort To Hold Light (Finishing Line Press), and co-author, with Cheryl A. Rice, of Until The Words Came (Post Traumatic Press). Guy co-directed two short films and recently began a third with filmmaker Katie Cokinos. If Not in Heaven, Then in Saugerties, Will Nixon’s new book, is portrait of the town in acrostic poems. “A collection of love letters about Saugerties straight from Will Nixon’s wildly poetic heart,” says Katie Cockinos. A decade ago, he published a similar book, Acrostic Woodstock. He also wrote The Pocket Guide to Woodstock and Walking Woodstock: Journeys into the Wild Heart of America’s Most Famous Small Town co-authored with Michael Perkins.
