Poetic Injustice

When did you first fall in love with Poetry? Where were you? What did it do to you? Was it more divinely masculine or feminine or a mixture of both?

Was it powerful? Did you feel a glow, a spark, an energy or maybe even a synergy that the 2 of you shared? Did it inspire you to write the next generation of change or to change You. Maybe to incite the change of our current injustices?

In celebration of Black History Month, some of the most talented artists and spoken word poets in the region – Bless, D. Colin, Jaimaica Miles, Justice, Poetyc Visionz, Zo Zigga, Angelique, and Mojavi –  will perform a wide variety of artistic expressions of the Black Experience.

Most of the performers and performances will be featured in an upcoming documentary, Directed by Jamel Mosley and Executively Produced by: DJTGIF, Final Faze Farley, Angela Rollins, and Kevin Johnson for Johnson Communications.
