Creative Writing Workshop With Local Food in 1860s Stone Barn
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with local food and beverages while discussing your current and upcoming projects. Writers of all experience levels are welcome.
We’ll begin the writing portion of the program by using prompts — whether an object or an idea— to open pathways of creativity.
At the beginning of the second hour, you will have the opportunity to walk the grounds of our homestead. Choose a comfortable chair, bench, or patch of grass to begin creating, journaling, or just use the time to “be.”
We will serve an assortment of artisan foods: a charcuterie platter, yogurt granola parfaits, muffins, cookies, local fruit, coffee, and teas. All guests will receive a gift bag of scrumptious goodies to enjoy at home.
Raspberry Fields is located in the bucolic Hudson River Valley surrounded by apple orchards and architecture dating back over 150 years.
Upon request, after purchasing a seat at the table, we will share a list of local places of interest, restaurants, and lodging if you are planning an entire day or weekend adventure.
This is part of the Step Out Of Routine™ series.
