Richard Matturro, author of eight novels, is this year’s invited speaker at the annual celebration of Herman Melville’s birthday at his Lansingburgh home. His talk is entitled “Herman Melville: When in Doubt, Speculate.” He will also read one of his short stories dealing with Melville. There will be refreshments and time for Q&A. All are invited.
