Because the Indpendence Day holiday landed on the first Wednesday this year, host Carol Graser moved the monthly Caffe Lena poetry open mic to the second Wednesday. So this coming Wednesday, July 11, poetry will be back at one of the most historic and wonderful venues in the area with featured poets Jill Crammond and Martin Willits Jr.

Martin Willitts Jr. has published over 20 chapbooks and two full length poetry collections, including How to Find Peace(Kattywumpus Press, 2012), No Special Favors (Green Fuse Press 2012) and coming out in August Playing The Pauses In The Absence Of Stars  (Main Street Rag). His poetry has been nominated for 5 Pushcart Prizes and 2 Best of the Net awards. Jill Crammond is a poet, artist, and a teacher. Her poetry has been published or is forthcoming in Crab Creek Review, Weave, Boxcar Poetry Review, Ouroboros, Blueline, Literary Mama & others. She is the owner and director of Miss Jills Artist Studio, a creative art studio for children ages 2 – 14. She is an active and valued member of HVWG & Albany Poets.
