Albany Poets Week in Review

This was a very busy week for all of us here at Albany Poets. We had a great night at McGeary’s this past Monday for Poets Speak Loud. The open mic with featured poet Poetyc Vyzonz (and friends) was an evening full of laughs and wonderful poetry and spoken word performances. It was one of those nights that reminds you of the “good old days”. On September 26 we come back to McGeary’s for another edition of Poets Speak Loud with the Celebrity Roast of Don Levy! Be prepared, because Mary Panza, the roast master, is not going to be holding anything back.

We also launched the new AlbanyPoets.com website. We will be adding more videos, photos, and audio in the coming weeks to go along with the new look and feel of the site. Head on over and check it out and let us know what you think.

If you are currently featured on the website and would like to update your work or bio, send an email to info@albanypoets.com and let us know.
